The Galveston Bay Parrot Head Club is pleased to announce its 13th annual “Riddles in the Sand”, a musical four day event that brings together 350 Parrot Heads from the GBPHC, as well as other clubs from all over Texas and the rest of the country to “party with a purpose.” The purpose-raising funds to support local charities.
Proceeds from this year’s event will benefit:
Shriners Hospital for Children in Galveston.
The first Shriners Burn Hospital for Children opened its doors in 1966 in Galveston, Texas. The hospital treats approximately 250 acutely burned children each year and continues treatment until they are 18. In 2007, the hospital admitted 1,575 patients, including 548 acute burn cases, according to hospital statistics. The doors closed in 2008 due to Hurricane Ike, but with the generous support of many it has re-opened its doors, and with your help, we can keep them open!
Our event will be held at the Holiday Inn SunSpree Resort & Captain Jack’s Beach Bar, 1702 Seawall Blvd., the Tall Ship Elissa at the Texas Seaport Museum and Boudreaux’s on the Bayou!

The Shriners Hospital for Children is a 501(c) 3 organization. Therefore, donations made for this event are tax deductible as a charitable contribution.
The Galveston Bay Parrot Head Club is a chartered chapter of the PHIP national organization. GBPHC and PHIP are not-for-profit organizations whose purpose is to assist in community and environmental concerns and provide a variety of social activities for people sharing a common interest in the music of Jimmy Buffett and the tropical lifestyle exhibited by his words and music.

Sat. Headline Band Sponsor - $3500.
Kelly McGuire Band – Reserved table for 6 Sat., 6 t-shirts,
1 hotel room at host hotel for Sat. night, banner over the band as sponsor, premier ad spot on souvenir t- shirt, inside back cover of cookbook and ad in program.
Platinum Level $1500.to $2000. Sponsor – Two tickets for Sat.
Pool party, dinner, Banner up while Jerry Diaz, Play’s, large ad on souvenir t-shirt, ad in cookbook and in Program.
Gold Level $500.to $999.-Two tickets for Sat. pool party, dinner,

All above levels of sponsorship includes individuals/business name on event t-shirt, fliers, signs, etc. throughout the event and on our website and news letter (placement and print size based on level of sponsorship) Also all levels will be given event t-shirt, cookbook and program.
